October, 2008: Short Songs. Back then I didn't make transitions in between songs yet , but I did edit a couple of tracks by simply cutting them in half or so (like the Goose and Bit Shifter songs). All by all it's a pretty easy theme I guess, but I loved it for using it as an introduction (lots of aggro and weird stuff, hi my name is Karlien :D).

A losing theme that didn't win that month (and making an extra mix like this is what I pretty much always tend to do if there's another theme that's really really awesome to use): I Dare You To Listen To This! A compilation of mostly pretty harsh tracks. Which pretty often makes it a dare for people to listen to it yeah.

November, 2008: Oh Shit. A compilation that would make you go "Oh shit!"... so after making I Dare You To Listen To This!, I considered this very similar, and loved gathering noisy stuff for it. It's actually pretty long for a single mixtape, but I guess I convinced myself that all the songs I ended up with became as good as essential, in a way.
