September, 2009: After Summer.
The end of the summer finally arrived, and it all came down to a collection of summer bummers: a pretty big anti-climax to a wonderful time. Almost sounds so typical yet I pretty much never experienced that much misery in one pile. BUT, instead of dwelling deeper into that misery, I simply had to express myself into a mixtape! By chance the theme that month was about summertime, so I was bound to be one of the few with a fitting melancholic mix, and I'm very glad how the creating of it turned out (especially how it somehow worked therapeutic lol).
Two extra things to mention: I've also put this mix into a King Crimson frame, since my mixtape partner that month had a Crimson avatar, so I adapted parts of the Moonchild song in the beginning and end of the compilation.
The artwork's yet again done by one of my best friends, since he's pretty much my household illustrator for the majority of all my mixtapes, and he experienced a similar summer bummer at pretty much the same period in time, thus we were supporting eachother that month as much as we could.
Yes, I did find it necessary to type out a story/summary for this mix 'cause it's rather essential lol.

October, 2009: Dive For Cover.
After recovering from the heavy summer time it was time for a cover mix. At first I wasn't very keen of that theme, I always thought it would almost be a drag to listen throughout a whole compilation of covers. Yet slowly but surely I convinced myself that it's not so bad at all lol.

October 2009: extra mixtape.
At that time one losing theme was a huge favorite as well: a halloween mix! Now, where I come from a festivity such as Halloween still isn't that big over here as it logically is in all of the US. I am, however, a huge horror fan, thus making this theme a big favorite one too!
And on top of having made this extra mix at the time, the last track from my cover mix makes it coincidentally rather fluent, since it's both a cover and a horror(s) track, so three cheers for linkeage lol.

November, 2009: Once Twice Thrice.
And that month a theme ocurred that was yet again quite simple yet very very awesome: one to ten. Yes, it means that the first track's one minute long, the second two minutes, and so on 'till the tenth song which should be ten minutes. The really hidden challenge within this is of course selecting tracks that are the exact length of the supposed amount of minutes, but: I reached 54.9 minutes in total for this compilation, not 55. Which confused me way too much afterwards, but in a fun and good way.
